The year 2017 marked several significant events for the Ural Works of Civil Aviation.
On December 17 the New Year's corporate party of the “Ural Works of Civil Aviation” was hosted in Yeltsin Center. The event was held in a non-traditional format for the plant — in the style of the so-called smart holiday — "Nano-fest".
On November 24, 2017, the Ural Works of Civil Aviation was visited by President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman and Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev during a Russian-Czech business forum.
The excursion on the production of UWCA was visited by the cadets from Verkhnyaya Pyshma.
In October 2017, the staff of the UWCA held swimming competition.
On October 2017, the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation has awarded the title of "Aircraft Producer of Honor" to General Director of JSC "UWCA" Mr. Vadim Badekha.
To the International Day of the cook two employees of the UWCA factory cafeteria — cook Olga Alekseevna Eleskina and administrator Valentina Mikhailovna Bolikova — received letters of gratitude.
UZGA successfully passed the IAC Aviation Register examination.
On October 6, 2017, Udarnaya Desyatka (‘Hit the Bulls Eye’) Challenge during which the participants competed in the strongest blow, was held in Ekaterinburg among Rostec Corporation companies. 65 UWCA employees took part in the challenge.
